on your life goals, change your negative thinking patterns and replace them
with positive thinking patterns, and empower you to do so.
It is December 26, and we are just 5 days away from that fresh New Year 2022. For many of us, things didn’t go our way in 2021and many of us met with unexpected turns this year. We couldn’t succeed in our last new year’s resolutions. It is time to forgive past mistakes and failures. New things and memories are yet to come in this bright new year. Don’t be overwhelmed on this eve, just relax and don't be afraid to start it. Let us go straight to setting New year resolutions and words for affirmations, which are super easy to achieve and make a positive difference in your life.

What Are Your Strengths and weaknesses? Reconsider Them
In
this time to welcome a new year, you want to consider one aspect of yourself
that you'd like to improve. And how would you categorize the thing you chose as
your strength or weakness? We regard our flaws as more modifiable than our
strengths, so we're more likely to try to improve our weak version. But here is a point: paying attention to strengths rather than flaws is a great approach to
progress. We improve more swiftly when we focus on improving our strengths than
when we strive to improve our flaws. And you know, it is the right time to
consider focusing your efforts on improving where you're currently strong
instead of trying to improve your poor areas. What are your strengths? That
makes you feel accomplished and you're attracted to it for reasons you don't
understand. You will feel energetic, satisfied, and empowered after completing
the activity.
Easy Way to Self-Discipline
In life, you see that everything affects everything else. Discipline, or lack thereof, must affect all other disciplines in your life. If you want to take control of your choices to build a new habit in the new year, such as being punctual, cutting junk food to lose weight, or controlling your anger, keep it simple. Take doable steps and adopt small actions that you can do right now. As Dr. Robert Schuller said, "Inch by inch, everything’s a cinch." Invariable efforts are required to develop a new habit, and discipline is key. Start with small challenges. For instance, cut butter from your bread as a first step to reduce weight, get up half an hour early to be punctual in your routine.

What is Mindfulness? Add
it in your Life
It is being taught to us in our entire life that we must evaluate and understand the world around us using our five senses. This is what we call conscious awareness or mindfulness. In Harvard Business Gazette mindfulness is, “It’s about noticing what happens moment to moment, the easy and the difficult, and the painful and the joyful. It’s about building a muscle to be present and awake in your life.”
Any human
being, at any time, can use a mindfulness tool. It wouldn’t need
a degree, specialized expertise, or saintly wisdom. To relax, breathe, let
go, and become conscious, all you need is a peaceful environment, and the
advantages to your health and the level of your awareness are
incredible.
Mindfulness Meditation Technique (Basic practice)
Find a place where you can be alone. Sit up straight
but not stiffly on a cushion or chair, allowing your head and shoulders to rest
comfortably; place your hands on the tops of your legs, upper arms at your
sides.
Close
your eyes and take a deep breath. Feel your chest drop and rise, as well as
your belly expand and constrict. Observe the coolness as air enters and
the warmth as it leaves with each breath. Follow the breath's natural flow
rather than trying to regulate it
Thoughts will try to take your attention away
from the breath. Keep an eye on them, but refrain from passing judgment. Slowly
bring your attention back to your breathing. Counting their breaths is a
technique that some people use to keep focused.
The most benefits will come from daily
practice.
